Replacing a damaged screen yourself can save you a few dollars and maybe some time depending on how backed up you regular repair person may be backed up in their work. The Process is a fairly simple one as long as you don't let yourself become overwhelmed at the thought of working on your own netbook. I for one have no fear of going inside any of the products I have bought as I assume someone had to build it the first time so I know I can take it apart and at least get it back like it was.
