The people we meet

On here or in the street, when we meet people, some of us lose ourselves and try to portray a different persona than who they truly are. Some do this to impress, some do it for protection and on very rare occasion you will meet those that are open and honest. It's the times we meet these rare people that makes it easier to put the rest deep into the dungeons of your memories where they belong. I do believe it is important for us to meet all types of people, even if some of them want to be rude or offensive to us as individuals.  these are the times when we build our character. The belief that we meet everyone we meet for a reason has always been one of my core beliefs. Sometimes the reasons my not be as pleasing as other but needed for our personal development none the less.

I recently joined this one particular due to one of those very special people that are so rare. I don't know yet what is the "reason" we met but, I am confident that in the near future we will come to find what it is that we are here to share. The reason could be a trade off of knowledge, a friendship, or we may fulfill some need for one another. or maybe kindred spirits of sorts. In any case I know there is indeed a reason for meeting the people we meet. 


I have since joined two other sites I was invited to after adding the first one to my social networks. i have only recently begun to explore the boundaries and use of these sites but I will let you know what i find out then I will review them for anyone interested. For the present I have many sites that I belong to and are a part of. 


The first I ever joined was Gather.com, in the beginning Gather had a great community feel. Everyone I met there treated me as family with exception of a few that trolled on everyone there. I have recently went back to Gather almost as a quest to find the once great community that was there before. This quest of sorts is what led me to search for other online communities to interact with.
