Silent Survivors an Introduction

There are a group of cancer survivors out there that go for the most part unrecognized. These survivors are the families and friends of the cancer patient. Since being diagnosed our family has been very blessed with many such Silent survivors.

We stand by our loved one as they go through the various treatments and tests, supporting them in every way as they progress through treatment. Many of these survivors are themselves at a loss as to how to support their family member or friend. So finding ways to cope with their own new stresses seems even harder in some cases. Many cancer victims have young children that have no concept of the problems the adults are facing. Many victims are in fact children themselves placing new and life changing events for them and their parents.

I do hope to be able to help at least one person through sharing our experiences during this time. I feel that if I can reach even one single person and help in any way then I will feel like I have done what I need to do. Please visit my new blog  Silent Survivors, subscribe to Silent Survivors to receive email updates for each post. Thank you for your time and hope to see you there, feel free to comment I do not monitor the comments unless they are totally outrageous.
