School Closings for Weather

In the past few days since we got our weather reports for the area we have had people losing their minds wondering if schools will be open. I have to question the intelligence of these folks as they should be able to look outside and know for themselves if they feel comfortable enough to send your children out. I happen to home school my son but, if I didn't choose to do so, I don't think I would need some clown from the school board to tell me what "MY" thoughts on the weather are for "ANY" particular day not just the infamous "SNOW DAYS". Come on people lets try and think for ourselves at least sometimes, if you woke up on morning and we were under military attack or some other emergency would you need to told to keep your child home? I really pray you don't, need instruction for common sense. When I see things like this I have to wonder if maybe we got the wrong ones in schools maybe we need to educate the parents and let the children play.
