Spreaker - Much more than YouTube for Radio!

Spreaker allows you to host a Live Internet Radio Show, anywhere, anytime, with just a couple of clicks! It's the easiest way to create and share Audio On-line.

Spreaker is the perfect platform for casual broadcasting  You can add a new episode of your podcast from everywhere and it becomes immediately accessible to your audience, they can listen to you live or play the recording afterwards.

Spreaker in a nutshell

Spreaker is an online application for creating and sharing live audio content across the Internet.
With Spreaker, users become Radio DJs and host personal radio shows that can be streamed live and listened through a widget which supports all the major social media and mobile platforms.
It’s very easy to create any kind of radio show - from music to talk - since everything can be made on-line thanks to a unique DJ console which allows real-time mixing of voice, music and sound effects.
On the other hand, listeners are able to discover interesting niche content which would not be found on traditional FM radios.
How is Spreaker Different?

Spreaker allows you to broadcast LIVE on social media sites like Face Book. In this way, your audience can interact with you using tools like twitter, Skype, chat-rooms, etc...
There is nothing to install! Everything is realy Easy. The mixing console is an online (Adobe-Flash based) tool and it works from any computer connected to the Internet.
You don't need to broadcast 24/7. Spreaker users can create their own playlist or schedule and your show will fit in when you want.
Spreaker is a social website in itself as well. You can create networks around the type of content you prefer, comment on shows and exchange ideas in real time. Speaker also connects you with major social media sites so that it becomes super easy to grow your audience.
You can also embed the player in your  Blog/website.

Seizing the day

Today is the time to step in, recognize, or create opportunities to take it to the next level and communicate leadership or earn respect through performance. Empower yourself  to rise to the occasion by a window of opportunity and transform it through motivation. No matter what you face you can transform it into a useful situation, always learning and never failing to try your best.

May is always a busy month for us, but with the beginning of my wife's chemo therapy treatment, it has become even more so. Thus I have made the decision to not only seize the day but to in fact seize every single moment of every day I am given. I the past couple of months it has become all to clear the value and preciousness of life. I have been recently humbled to the extent that I do indeed know the gifts I have been given and I try harder and harder each day to be both aware and thankful of all the precious gifts I have and the ones I have yet to receive.

Cancer has  long and intense effects on those it touches, not only the patient but the family and friends that care for and love the patient. Some of the changes we fully expected, some came as a total surprise. I will at a later time go into more detail of these changes and the ways we've found to deal with them at a later date. Be sure to check back when I introduce

Silent Survivors a new blog I have been developing as a hopefully helpful guide and journal of our journey as we navigate through this strange land of cancer.

So once again I must say take not only the day but every moment of every day and make it your own. Bring your world around to where you want it, don't except the luck of the draw, stack the deck in your favor at every opportunity.

Do they really care at all?

I have spent the last couple of weeks trying to build and maintain a site and blog for a small local church. The operators of this church had expressed a concern at the lack of both members and visitors. Since constructing the site in a general manner using fake paragraphs and images I have yet to be able to get any cooperation from any of the members or clergy there. I tend to wonder how much any of them really care about their church. I would have thought that they would have been excited to get the new site up. I do hope that they give me the rest of the information so that I can finish the site and blog. I have at this point all but lost any faith in the thought that they will. I will try to assemble all the needed information on my own. I have been very disappointed with the way the people have reacted to my asking for information it's almost as if they don't care if they reach out at all. I know they intend well but by missing the opportunity to promote their church on the web seems like a big mistake.
